More About The Innkeepers

Susan (Schuster) Karalekas and her extended family are on hand to attend to guests' needs and keep the Inn running smoothly. Claudio (Susan’s son in law) is a talented carpenter and skilled craftsman who has immersed himself in building projects, furniture making, skilled maintenance, and grounds work.

Elizabeth (Susan's daughter) and Claudio, who are fluent in Spanish, divide their time between the Inn and Honduras. They love greeting Spanish-speaking guests and sometimes Elizabeth will make a Latin American breakfast, complete with her homemade tortillas.

Their daughter, Gabriela, (born in February 2005) and son Eduardo (born in January 2008) who are being brought up bilingually, add a charming touch to the household, keeping us all young-at-heart.

People of all ages love our antiques. Gabriela (at age 2) enjoys taking her antique dolls for a walk around the inn in this vintage pram.
